Mrs. Shaffer’s Super Stars

Hi!  My name is Mary Shaffer.  I am a third grade teacher at Stonewall Jackson Elementary. I have been there for several years and love each new class and school year.  

 I am a Bristol native and attended Bristol Tenn. High School.  I received my AA degree from Sullins College.  I then transferred to Va. Intermont College where I graduated with a BA degree in early childhood education.

I love the shore of South Carolina.  The ocean and the salt air are so tranquil to me.  So during the few weeks of summer you might find me on the beach of Cherry Grove reading a good mystery and relaxing.  Stop by and say hello.

My hobbies are power walking and collecting Barbie dolls!  Yes, dolls.
